Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Toro platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including contractors, homeowners, and any other visitors or users of the platform.
User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Payment Terms
Toro facilitates payments between contractors and homeowners through integrated payment processing. By using our payment features, you agree to the following:
Processing Fees
Transaction fees may apply to payment processing. These fees will be clearly disclosed before any transaction is initiated.
Payment Disputes
Disputes between users should be resolved directly. Toro may, but is not obligated to, assist in dispute resolution.
Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to the terms agreed upon between the contractor and homeowner. Toro does not guarantee refunds.
Tax Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on transactions made through the platform.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform illegal acts
- Impersonating another user, person, or entity
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks
- Submitting false or misleading information or fraudulent payment requests
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Toro and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without the prior written consent of Toro.
Limitation of Liability
Important: In no event shall Toro, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
